Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, writer and American actor active in the theatre in film, television, and theatre. She began her career as an actor in theater and then went on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. On BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she was a character. She did not only be praised by critics for her character, she did she also win a couple of awards and nominations.
