Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd then went on to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first minute. Aspen went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's record for amateur. Ladd won her next fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 after signing with Invicta FC. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the 2nd. She remained dominant as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major way. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges among the pair of fighters, received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by majority decision.
