Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19 2007) was an American film, theatre TV, and voice actress. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was a part of films in the late 1950s. She was later featured in a number of notable films, including Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a frequent guest on a variety of TV productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937 in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who appeared on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage director at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
